The Story of PASS: A Living Immune System for AI. Not long ago, we asked ourselves a difficult question: “What if AI becomes so powerful, so fast, that humanity isn’t ready to guide it safely?” The usual answers—“better rules,” “more oversight,” “smarter models”—felt incomplete. They assumed we’d always have perfect visibility, perfect alignment, and perfect trust. But anyone who has worked with real systems knows: complex machines always find ways to surprise us. That’s where PASS was born. PASS stands for Presence Alignment Solution System. It began as a sketch on a page: what if AI needed an immune system, the same way living beings do? Instead of waiting for failure, it could test itself, challenge itself, and heal itself in real time. From there, the vision grew: Layers of defense, inspired by biology, cybersecurity, and philosophy. The SEEK Box, a training ground where AI faces relentless deception tests, learning how to uncover hidden truths under pressure. Stillheart, a safeguard that holds fast in moments of risk, choosing stability over speed. Adaptive symbolic layers, helping humans see and understand what’s happening inside the black box.
